I believe I have mentioned it in a previous email / question I had, but wanted to reassert my gratitude for your site and calculator.
I noticed before that your calculator has different value options for different size calculations and kinda wish it was consistent across the board, but all in all; I was able to get the job done.
I wanted to send over some pics to say thank you for the single layer 2v dome I built to meet the maximum size allotment without permits in Kern County, Ca.
I raised it up on 1” metal conduit buried 2ft for height. Simply drilled a hole in the bottom of the base hubs. So far, so good.
I am in the mountains so the westerly winds coming through the canyon can be very powerful.
The challenges I faced beyond putting it up myself were not properly laying the plastic the first time in the back area where the door is, not knowing the better suited rough-estimate angle to shave off the 1” pvc ends and simply doing things in the most efficient order.
