Our 3 Types of Hubs.
Standard Hubs
The Standard Hubs are used for geodesic storage sheds, chicken coops, and other standard dome designs.
The Standard Hubs allows a Greenhouse to be covered with 1 layer of plastic on the outside of the dome.
The Standard Hubs can be made with a hand drill and hand saw.
The Dual Covering Hubs are for Insulated Greenhouses. They have a ridge on each edge that allows 2 layers of Greenhouse Plastic to be attached to the dome with zip ties, one layer on the outside, and one layer on the inside of the dome.
This provides a "dead air space" between the two layers for better insulation. This hub is only used for insulated greenhouses.
The Dual Covering Hubs requires a chop saw to make the hubs.
The 6" Super Hubs use 1.5" PVC pipe struts with 350 lb stainless steel zip ties. The Super Hubs can support over 300 lbs from a single hub,
and are used to build concrete domes and other heavy duty shelter domes.
The Super Hubs requires a drill press and a bandsaw to make the hubs.
