Hello John. 

My name is Mark Anderson and I purchased 3 of your domes last year, one chicken coop kit and two shelter domes, one of which included the silo option.
My wife and I would like to thank you for the ease of construction, excellent instruction and overall satisfaction with your product. 
We have sheep and goats on our farm and your ziptiedomes have made excellent year round structures for rotational grazing.  

Our chicken coop has a white tarp on the roof for shade in the summer. 
This winter I used a material called duraskrim that is normally used for vapor barrier in construction. 
It is very durable and tear resistant due to its diamond weave polyethylene thread sandwiched between two layers of polyethylene film. 
I used crawl space capped vapor barrier stakes to attach the plastic to the pvc struts.  They made excellent "rivots" to keep the plastic on.  

For the 2 larger 2v domes ( one 17ft dome with silo option and one 20ft regular dome)  I used the same size 20 by 30ft blue hawk heavy duty brown and silver tarp sold at Lowes for the roof on both domes.   
I secured the tarp with Oatey 6 inch pvc end caps on both sides and a Hillman 3/8-16×6inch carriage bolt through the middle. 
The end caps, while pricey, are heavy duty and provide good support for the tarp and duraskrim. 
On the inside of the domes, we used the same 10ft wide roll of duraskrim to line the inside walls and attached to the hubs.
We also used farmtek greenhouse fabric clips to secure the duraskrim and tarp on the dome.
We used 16ft feedlot sheep and goats panels from Tractor Supply company to line the inside perimeter of the dome and make pens.
