Hi John
Apologies for the delay I built the dome a while ago now but herewith some pictures - feel free to use wherever!
I really enjoyed doing it (as did the kids to an extent!) but the chickens are really happy with the new home and it's very easy to move around.
It has come out strong and worked very well.
Thanks!

Hi Team
I just bought a set of plans/licence from you and am looking forward to building a dome with metric 125/63/32mm pipe sizes for 2V dome.
Before I start cutting (!) could you please just check I am using the dome calculator correctly for this hub size as I think I have got it but am not 100% confident!
So I set calculator to metric (which gives lengths with no allowance for hubs?) with a 4m diameter dome gives:
Blue A struts 1.236m and Red B struts 1.093m.
I then take off 63mm (centre ring diameter) to get 1.173m and 1.030m - is that correct?
I may be being over-careful but...
Also what tolerance is needed on the strut lengths - am presuming a mm or 2 makes little difference?
Thanks!

Phil,
Yes, your calculations are correct.
You can be 3-4 mm off in your cuttings and the design is very forgiving and will still work.
So don't worry about the width of the blade, just try to cut the struts all the same length as best you can.
Yes, the 125/63/32 mm combination will work perfectly. There is a 4-2-1 ratio.
Be sure to send me pictures of your dome and construction process. If you can send me your pictures, I will send you a free set of plans, whatever set you want.
Thanks for being our customer.
