This video was made by Richard Scott, who is an Advocate for the Homeless in San Jose, California. Richard is working with Zip Tie Domes to provide Geodesic Domes for portable Homeless Shelters for those that have no where to go.

Zip Tie Domes has offered to donate or provide "at the cost of materials" the geodesic dome hubs needed to build these shelters. The dome struts are made from 1" Schedule 40 PVC pipe that Richard has obtained from local donors or out of his own pocket, along with the tarp and other materials.

We have been very happy to work with people like Richard Scott who are using their lives to provide for the needs of other people by creating a place of shelter for those that have no place to go.
