3v 3/8 Geodesic Dome.

This kit comes with our "Standard Hubs", which allows one layer of Greenhouse Plastic, Tarp, or Chicken Wire to be stretched over the outside of the dome. Click Here to view this kit with "Dual Covering Hubs" which allows two layers of Greenhouse Plastic to be attached, one on the inside, and one on the outside of the dome. Click Here to learn more about the difference between our Standard and Dual Covering Hubs.

This "Hubs Only" Kit comes with everything necessary to build a 3v 3/8 Geodesic Dome, except the struts. No struts are included with this package.

The "Hubs Only" Kit contains instruction on how to cut your own struts from 1" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, which you can purchase at Lowes or Home Depot and save money.

The "Hubs Only" Kit will include a printed copy of our 3v 3/8 Dome Construction Manual, which includes Detailed Instructions on How to Cut Your Own Struts.

We also have an online video on "How to Cut Your Own Struts", as well as "How to Build a 3v 3/8 Geodesic Dome."

To support our "Hubs Only" kits, we have produced a DIY video, "How to Make Your Own Geodesic Dome Struts."

20' wide, 8' tall - 3v 3/8 Dome:

50 Blue "A" Struts - 4' 0"

40 Yellow "B" Struts - 3' 10 - 7/8"

30 Red "C" Struts - 3' 4"

25' wide, 10' tall - 3v 3/8 Dome:

For best results, the longest strut should not be more than 5' long. with an absolute maximum length of 6' 8".
