This kit will build a 25' diameter - 10' tall
3v 3/8 Geodesic Dome.


Super Hubs for 1.5" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe Struts.
 
 

This kit comes with our "Super Hubs", for building a Geodesic Dome with 1.5" PVC pipe.

This "Hubs Only" Kit comes with everything necessary to build a 3v 3/8 Geodesic Dome, except the struts. No struts are included with this package.

The "Hubs Only" Kit contains instruction on how to cut your own struts from 1" Schedule 40 PVC pipe, which you can purchase at Lowes or Home Depot and save money.

The "Hubs Only" Kit will include a printed copy of our 3v 3/8 Dome Construction Manual, which includes Detailed Instructions on How to Cut Your Own Struts.

We also have an online video on "How to Cut Your Own Struts", as well as "How to Build a 3v 3/8 Geodesic Dome."

To support our "Hubs Only" kits, we have produced a DIY video, "How to Make Your Own Geodesic Dome Struts."

40 Yellow "B" Struts - 3' 3 - 1/8"

30 Red "C" Struts - 2' 9 - 1/4"

 

20' wide, 8' tall - 3v 3/8 Dome:

50 Blue "A" Struts - 4' 0"

40 Yellow "B" Struts - 3' 10 - 7/4"

30 Red "C" Struts - 3' 4"

25' wide, 10' tall - 3v 3/8 Dome:

50 Blue "A" Struts - 5' 0"

For best results, the longest strut should not be more than 5' long. with an absolute maximum length of 6' 8".
